Abebe Gelaw roaring like thunder on Meles Zenawi

ESAT announced today that journalist Abebe Gelaw has been chosen by Ethiopians from most parts of the world as their Man of the Year.

Many of the participants indicated that they nominated Abebe because, after two decades of humiliations of Ethiopians by Meles Zenawi, people were able to lift their heads for the first time on May 18, 2012 thanks to the heroic actions of the journalist for challenging and exposing in full view of the international community the world’s most sophisticated dictator.

The participants said that on that day Ethiopians were able to witness in Washington D. C. before the whole world the humiliation of the man who used to send terror down their spines, shamed and shrinking, while he was speaking on the forum, invited by President Barack Obama to attend a high-level conclave on food security, as part of the G-8 Summit.

The picture, below, shows Meles Zenawi in unusual position of shrinking and coiling by the table before him, after he was hit by the lightening emitted by Abebe’s thunderous voice. In a few powerful words, what Abebe Gelaw told the world could be summed up in two sentences: First Meles Zenawi was a dictator. Secondly, Ethiopians want freedom before food!

Meles never recovered from that incident. He eventually exited to his grave in mid-July, although the TPLF regime confirmed his death only on August 21, 2012.
