TEO thought the above biblical language perfectly responds to the TPLF’s emplacement of Ethiopia under martial law. Even then, instead of talking to the people and addressing their political, economic problems, in particular the inequality and repression the regime has forced upon citizens, it has reverted to imposing more repression on the country.
Certainly, irrespective of the situation in Eritrea, the idea behind this latest accusation by the TPLF during the UN General Assembly Third Committee’s discussion of human rights issues is to deceive the international community hiding the human rights crisis in Ethiopia.
In spite of the cruel martial law imposed on Ethiopians, TPLF representatives have shown their temerity to accuse Eritrea of human rights violations.
