አደገኛ ውስጥ አዋቂ!                               Is TPLF regime being haunted by a spirit it has summoned, but cannot dismiss?

WE heard Monday through sources with access, the TPLF’s central committee session’s announcement of a quasi-decision/statement regarding the troubled situation between Oromia and Somali regions.

In re-reading it, what comes to mind is the extent the organisation has shrieked its responsibilities, while it is the real power centre of the country.

The statement does not seem to have true appreciation of the situation. Its statement sounds typical of those tasteless communist party messages that with no sense of grasp of the situation in a far off land, they express their solidarity.

The TPLF does not seem to have read the signal before our naton: ETHIOPIA IS IN DANGER!

Hereunder is part of the Statement of the TPLF Central Committee, as pertains to the bloodshed in the country’s south eastern border, sounding oblivious to challenge of insubordination, whose shoots have grown visible. And yet, the frigid message states:

….” Source: Daniel Berhane

Unofficial TEO translation:

“While expressing our profound sorrow on behalf of the people of Tigray at the loss of lives and material destructions, we are resolved to engage with immediacy, along with sister organisations and holding hands just like before, in resolving in the spirt of revolutionary democracy and as appropriate the conflictual situation along the border between Oromia and Somali regions in a lasting manner.”

May be the TPLF bigwigs are too busy with their CC meeting and potting their future. The regional president Abdi Mohamoud Omar has left them his blood-smelling congratulatory message about the removal of Speaker Abddula Gemeda from the federal parliament, asking for more action against “narrow-minded Oromia extremists.”

The Somali Regional Office has been warned not to issue provocative statement, inviting conflict among peoples.

There you have it, it is unstoppable, because Ethiopia does not seem to have a government, whose job is governing, not pitting people against people!

Such situations are not new in politics and history. This, however, is a serious case informing the nation that Ethiopia has no government to steer it forward in times of crisis. There is no doubt those Ethiopians who have a sense of history have long realised that the TPLF has been playing a dangerous game, pitting one ethnic group against the other.

In the hearts of their hearts, the TPLF leaders are also possibly wandering how they could not have seen the possibility of not being able to dismiss the evil they have summoned, whose haunting of them and the nation to reach this terrible level of dispiriting them!

Did a learned academic Monday say in his interview that this is the first time in Ethiopian history, when one part of the nation has ever arrogated power and authority unto itself to shut the door on the other, or raise arms to maim and kill, if they ever stepped at its door!

What the people of Ethiopia need is to live in peace and…[cant say dignity which has long been lost] in any part of the country. While not a land of laws, at least that is what the constitution, although now overruled by one man!
Adios!
