“According to a study commissioned by Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn, Gambella’s commercial farming investment is in shambles at the moment. The study systematically investigated the investor recruitment procedure, land allocation process, performance of invested farms, provision of financing, follow up of investors and many other research topics which are of great interest to the stakeholder. It suffices to say, the study team found things disturbingly out of place in Gambella.”
