የጋምቤላ ክልል መንግሥት በገቡት ውል መሠረት አላለሙም በማለት የ269 ኢንቨስተሮችን መሬት መንጠቁ ተቃውሞ በማስነሳቱ፣ ጉዳዩን በድጋሚ ለማጣራት 13 አባላት ያሉት ኮሚቴ ተቋቋመ፡፡

ቅዳሜ ግንቦት 5 ቀን 2009 ዓ.ም. በጋምቤላ ከተማ በተካሄደው ስብሰባ ከክልሉ መንግሥት፣ ከኢትዮጵያ ልማት ባንክ፣ ከኢትዮጵያ ሆርቲከልቸርና ግብርና ልማት ባለሥልጣን፣ እንዲሁም ከጋምቤላ ክልል የእርሻ ኢንቨስተሮች ማኅበር የተውጣጣ ኮሚቴ ተቋቁሟል፡፡

The Development Bank of Ethiopia (DBE), the state policy financier, has replaced four of its vice presidents effective as of May 2, 2017.

Tadesse Hatiya, vice president of credit management, Teka Yibrah, vice president of corporate services, Almaz Tilahun, vice president of finance & banking management and Dereje Awgichew, vice president of project financing, are the VPs who lost their positions.

“According to a study commissioned by Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn, Gambella’s commercial farming investment is in shambles at the moment. The study systematically investigated the investor recruitment procedure, land allocation process, performance of invested farms, provision of financing, follow up of investors and many other research topics which are of great interest to the stakeholder. It suffices to say, the study team found things disturbingly out of place in Gambella.”
