የኢትዮጵያ አየር መንገድ ለጊዜ ያለችውን አንዲት ሴት አብራሪውን በአዛዥነት፡ ሌሎች ሴቶች ባለሙያዎች፡ መካኒኮች አስተናጋጎች ወዘተ አድርጎ በታህሳስ 18/2017 በእስያና አፍሪካ ዘመናዊ አውሮፕላኖቹን ሲሸኝ፡ FaceAfrica የሚከተለውን ዘግቦ ነበር፦

“Ethiopian Airlines, the national flag carrier of Ethiopia made history on Saturday when it deployed an all-female crew for a special flight from Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria.

The historic airlift, which is the airline’s first flight to Nigeria in the hands of an all-female crew, has grabbed headlines across the world, with some people lauding it as a major milestone for the womenfolk…”

AfricaNews ደግሞ ታህሳስ 20/2017 የሚከተለውን አሠፈረ፡

“Under the supervision of Captain Amsale Gualu and First Officer Tigist Kibret, the 13-member crew flew 391 passengers to the Nigerian capital on Boeing B777-300 ER, an exciting journey that took approximately four and a half hours.”

በቅርብ ጊዜ እንደዚህ በግሌ ያኮራኝና ሃገራችኝንም ያስከበረ ነገር አላስታውስም! በተለይም ሃገራችን ትርምስ ውስጥ በነበረችበት ሁኔታ ውስጥ አየር መንገዳችን ያለፉት መንግሥታት መልካም ውጤት በመሆኑ፡ ለሚቀጥለውም ትውልድ ሌተላለፍ የሚገባ የኢትዮጵያ ቅርስ በመሆኑ ኩባያውም ሆነ ሠራተኞችሁን ልንከባከባቸው ይገባናል!

ለዚህ ነው የመጅመሪያዋ አብራሪ ካፒቴን አምሳሉ በታሪክ መዝገብ ውስጥ የምትገባበትን ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ እንዲፈጥሩ ይህን ደጅ ጥናት ይዤ ደጅ የምጠናቸው!

ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሩ በቅርቡ የሃገሪቱ ፕሬዜደንት እንዲሆኑ ወይዘሮ ሣህለ ወርቅ ዘውዴን በማጨት ለሃግሪቱ ፕሬዚደንትነት እንዲመረጡ ማድረጋቸው ይታወሳል። የሕግና የፍትህ ሥርዓቱን እንዲመሩ ሴት የሕግ ባለሙያ ወይዘሮ መዓዛ አሸናፊን የከፍተኛው ፍርድ ቤት ፕሬዘደንትነት አድርገው ሾመዋል!

በተለይም የመንግሥትን ካቢኔ ገሚሱን በሴቶች እንዲያዝ በማድረግ የመጀመሪያው መሪ በመሆናቸው፣ እነርሱንም ለማበራታት፣ አዲሷ ኢትዮጵያ የሚተጉላትን አክባሪና ውሮታቸውን ከፋይ መሆኗን ቢያሳዩ —በዜጎችና በታሪክ ዐይን ጀማሪ ብቻ ሣይሆኑ—የጀመሩትንም ፈጻሚና አስፈጻሚ ሆነው የሚታዩ ይመሰለኛል!

Two United States citizens, who were flown out of West Africa after contracting ebola were today released ‘ebola virus free’ from the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Dr. Kent Brantly, 33, called it a “miraculous day.” Nancy Writebol, 59, was released Tuesday, and her husband said she is free of the virus but in a weakened condition and was recuperating at an undisclosed location, according to the international media.
